We build orchestration software that keeps AMR fleets running when the floor changes
Stateful Robotics was founded in Bristol in 2024 by engineers who spent years working on warehouse automation. We saw the same failure mode repeatedly: robots stopping because a static routing system couldn't respond to mid-run changes.
Why stateful matters
Most AMR orchestration systems issue task assignments without retaining the context of what led to those assignments. When something changes mid-run, they have to restart from scratch or stop and wait for an operator.
Stateful Robotics holds the full task graph in working state throughout execution. That means the replanning engine can compute a minimum-disruption update, not a full restart. The parts of the run that aren't affected keep going.
We built this because the warehouse floor is not a static environment. Lanes close, robots go offline, priorities shift mid-shift. The orchestration layer needs to handle those changes without stopping the floor.

Background in operations and logistics software, with years building task dispatch systems for mobile workforce coordination before pivoting to robot fleet orchestration. Co-founded Stateful Robotics in 2024.
Marcus Okonkwo
CTO & Co-Founder
Distributed systems and real-time task scheduling. Deep background in event-driven architecture for physical-world automation, with prior work on path planning and fleet coordination for autonomous mobile systems.
Priya Nair
Head of Robotics Engineering
Builds and maintains the robot adapter layer and fleet coordination components. Background in embedded systems and robot middleware, with prior experience at an AMR hardware manufacturer.
Working with us
We are a small, technical team. We work with a limited number of warehouse and 3PL partners at a time, running structured pilots with direct support from the engineering team.
